Privacy Notice

KLR Productions, LLC ("KLR", "we") runs this video submission website. This notice explains what information we collect when you submit a video, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you give us: your full legal name, email address, phone number (optional), the name or social handle you want credit under, your pet's name, where the video was filmed, and your description of the video.
- Your video file, including information stored inside it by your phone or camera (such as the date it was recorded and the device model).
- Your agreement record: the agreement version you accepted, your typed name, the boxes you checked, and the date and time you signed.
- Technical information collected automatically when you submit: your IP address, approximate location based on that IP address (city, region, country), browser and device type, and the website that sent you here (for example, a link from our TikTok or Instagram).
How we use it
- To receive, review and organize your submission and decide whether to feature it.
- To keep a record that proves you signed the copyright assignment, in case the ownership of a video is ever questioned.
- To email you a copy of your signed agreement, and to let you know if your video is featured.
- To credit you, if you asked for credit.
- To detect spam, fraud, and videos that weren't filmed by the person submitting them.
- To understand which of our social media channels people come from.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who helps us
We use a few service providers who handle information only to run this site for us:
- Cloudflare, for website hosting, storage of videos and records, and bot protection.
- Resend, to send emails.
- Anthropic, whose AI (Claude) looks at still frames from submitted videos, along with the video's technical details, to help us review them. We use Anthropic's commercial service, which does not train its AI models on this content.
We may also share information when required by law, to enforce our agreements or protect our rights (for example, in a copyright dispute), or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
How long we keep it
Because you transfer the copyright in your video to KLR, we keep the video and your signed agreement record for as long as we own or use the video, since that record is our proof of ownership. If your video isn't used, we may delete the video file itself, but we keep the agreement record.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing klrproductions26@gmail.com. Because your signed agreement is a legal record, we may need to keep the parts of it required to prove the copyright transfer.
- If you don't want credit, uncheck the credit box when you submit, or email us.
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 to submit a video. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
Your information is sent over an encrypted connection and stored with access limited to KLR. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Changes
If we update this notice, we'll change the "Last Updated" date above.
